Sausage Muffins
A quick and easy breakfast option that can be portioned out for several mornings. Mornings can be hectic do yourself a favor and try this recipe and take one extra thing off of your to-do list. To learn more about how we raise our pigs check out our blog post All About Our Pigs.

Ingredients

  • (1 lb) Mild Sausage
  • (2 Cups) Bisquick
  • (1 Cup) Milk
  • (1 Egg) Pasture Raised Eggs
  • (6 Tbsp) Butter, melted and cooled
  • (1 Cup) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • (1/2 Tsp) Onion and Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a muffin pan and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown your sausage and drain.
  4. Allow to cool while you mix the milk, egg and butter.
  5. Add bisquick and powdered spices to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Add the shredded cheese and cooled sausage and combine.
  7. Fill the muffin tins with batter and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
