Sausage Muffins

A quick and easy breakfast option that can be portioned out for several mornings. Mornings can be hectic do yourself a favor and try this recipe and take one extra thing off of your to-do list. To learn more about how we raise our pigs check out our blog post All About Our Pigs.

Ingredients
- (1 lb) Mild Sausage
- (2 Cups) Bisquick
- (1 Cup) Milk
- (1 Egg) Pasture Raised Eggs
- (6 Tbsp) Butter, melted and cooled
- (1 Cup) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- (1/2 Tsp) Onion and Garlic Powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a muffin pan and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown your sausage and drain.
- Allow to cool while you mix the milk, egg and butter.
- Add bisquick and powdered spices to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Add the shredded cheese and cooled sausage and combine.
- Fill the muffin tins with batter and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
